Since I was in high school, I dreamed of the day when I would be able to tell stories in my home town.

In March of 2012, I was given the great opportunity to do that here at Fox 32 News.

I was born on the southside of Chicago, but my family moved when I was just a few years old. I was raised in Berwyn, went to Immaculate Heart of Mary high school in Westchester and received my bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Columbia College Chicago.

I started my career in the snowy hills of Traverse City, Michigan at WPBN-TV. I was what we call in the business, a one-man band. It was one of the most challenging times in my career. Lugging 40 pounds of equipment up ice covered hills and through blizzards was proof, I truly wanted to do this for a living.

After several years I headed down south to Music City, USA. I was up dark and early as a morning reporter for WTVF-TV in Nashville. A side note, it's the same station where Oprah got her start in television. I was always looking for a Chicago connection anywhere I worked!

My career path then took me even further south to Houston where I reported for KHOU-TV. I covered everything from hurricane preparations to a Presidential visit. After years of developing my story telling skills in some of the most wonderful cities, I'm finally able to do what I love, in the city that I love.

I'm an avid sports fan, so you'll definitely catch me at some of the games around town. Feel free to drop me a line, email or tweet, I'm always looking for great stories to tell!
