CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It's one of the most controversial movies of the year and it all takes place in Chicago.
Spike Lee's Chi-Raq is based on a classical Greek comedy play. The story revolves around the gang violence that plagues the city's South Side and a group of women who use an unusual method to try and put an end to it.
FOX 32’s Richard Roeper has seen the movie and gives us his review.
The movie hits Chicago theaters Friday.
