Beyonce's 'Lemonade' vinyl mistakenly included punk band songs

The Beyhive was literally punked by the European release of Beyonce‘s ‘Lemonade‘ album on vinyl.

Confused Beyonce fans were surprised when they realized the ‘A’ side of the record included 5 songs from Canadian punk band Zex. Hold Up… WHAT?!

Apparently, Columbia Records’ plant located in Germany experienced a ‘human error,’ exposing the queen’s fans to a different kind of lemonade.

The label has offered an apology and promised to replace the records.

It seems the mix-up has benefitted the punk band, as fans who received the vinyl have been tweeting and tagging the band and giving them tons of free PR.

“Yeah we are getting some copies,” the band wrote in a Facebook comment, “We were on the split after all hahahaha.”

Well on the positive side, this may be the opportunity for Zex to get some new followers … and a future collaboration with Bey wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
