Health care company to hire 300 people for Illinois office
DECATUR, Ill. (AP) - A Florida-based health care technology company says it's planning to hire 300 people in Decatur.
Convey Health Solutions announced Monday that it will open an office in Decatur and need to hire a mix of permanent, seasonal, full-time and part-time workers.
The (Decatur) Herald and Review reports that the company has worked with the Economic Development Corporation of Decatur and Macon County, Richland Community College, Workforce Investment Solutions and the city of Decatur.
A job fair is planned for Aug. 11 and 12.
The company is moving into the Fairview Park Plaza space, which has been vacant since the previous business tenant, StarTek call center, closed in 2012 and put 300 people out of work.
