2/17 Marketing Automation Specialist (Chicago)

Paladin has an immediate opening for a Marketing Automation Specialist to work with a non-profit in downtown Chicago. If you're interested in working for an organization with a mission that develops programs for the greater good in early childhood development this could be the place for you!

In this role you will support the work of the organization by leading the development, execution and optimization of their digital touch points including their web site, CRM templates, social medial and other display assets. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of marketing automation experience and is knowledgeable in technology, specifically Salesforce and basic HTML and CSS (JavaScript a plus). You'll work with internal and external partners and should be able to work well independently and with others.

Salary: Up to $60k/year depending on experience

Responsibilities to Include:
• Managing/updating content, function and design for the website
• Collaborating with other divisions to identify digital content opportunities to spotlight their work
• Manage growth of the site, ensuring effective online strategy that reaches intended audience
• Manage, create templates and handle deployment of e-communications and e-newsletters
• Develop standardized templates/branding for all digital communications (e-newsletters, display banners, and online videos)
• Support advocacy activities by developing and disseminating action alerts and updates as needed and provide tracking/analytics
• Ensure that all materials adhere to brand and style guidelines
• Work with outside vendors as needed to ensure ease of use, and optimize search engine positioning

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience with website design, development and maintenance
• Past experience with online and email marketing (Exact Target, Constant Contact or Mail Chimp)
• Experience with online customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce or similar CRM
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Proven skills in managing and organizing web content
• Interest in having an understanding of interactive best practices such as visual design, front-end development, usability, UX, information architecture, mobile-optimized and technology standards
• Understand of SEO/SEM best practices and strategy
• Reasonable experience using Google Analytics and/or CRM Analytics
• Working knowledge of design programs including PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark
• Strong project management and inter-personal skills
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
