New curly-haired, multi-tonal dolls help young girls feel beautiful

- Margaret Fitzpatrick started Curly Girls United in hopes of showing little girls that dolls with curly, kinky hair and dark skin are just as beautiful their blue-eyed counterparts.

The idea is to fight the statistic that roughly 60 percent of girls who have curly hair don't think it's beautiful.

Fitzpatrick is joined by 6-year-old Madison White, who calls her doll "mini-me" and finds comfort in her likeness to her little friend. Both of them talk about the dolls and why its important to shift the perception of young girls into a more postive mindset.
