CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - An Irish immigrant lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a new romance. But eventually, her past catches up with her and she must choose between her homeland and her new life.

That's the story behind new movie "Brooklyn" in theaters now.  The movie is based off the Nick Horby novel of the same title. But how does is translate to the big screen?

Fox 32's Bill Zwecker had the chance to preview the movie and talk to it's star Shosha Ronan.
