She's considered one of the best American composers and singer-songwriters over the last 60 years. Now Carole King's story is being told on the Broadway stage in "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical."
‘Beautiful’ comes to Chicago in December but you can catch a sneak peek Monday for free as part of Broadway In Chicago's summer concert.
Abby Mueller, who stars as Carole King, joined Good Day Chicago to tell us more about the musical and Monday’s performance.
“Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” isn't the only performance you can catch Monday. “Cabaret,” “Dirty Dancing,” the classic story on stage, Disney's “Newsies,” Disney's “The Lion King,” and many more will also be performing.
You can catch “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” Monday at 6:15 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. The performance is free.
