Chicago Public Schools square off in chess tournament

It's a game that helps with critical thinking, brain power, life skills and discipline. No were not talking about baseball, or basketball. We're talking chess!

For the first time ever, two Chicago Public Schools are competing in a chess tournament - Andrew Carnegie Elementary School in Woodlawn and Pershing Elementary School in Forest View.

Good Day Chicago is joined by Sharan Subramanian, founder of Invest in Chess along with Carnegie School Principal Docilla Pollard and teacher Javee Hernandez and a few of their students.
