Comedian Gary Owen joins Good Day Chicago

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - You know him from movies like "Think Like a Man Too" "Ride Along" and "Tyler Perry's House of Pain."

Over the years, Gary Owen has been embraced by African-American audiences with his take on being in a biracial marriage and as the father of three kids. Ebony magazine has called him "Black America's Favorite White Comic."

Owen got his start in stand-up comedy when he was stationed in San Diego where he served in the Navy for six years and was named "funniest serviceman in America.”

You can catch Gary at the Chicago Improv in Schaumburg Friday at 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. and Sunday  at 7 p.m.
