Common giving back through fresh produce initiative

Native Chicagoan and Grammy award-winning rapper Common has always used his music to send a powerful message.

Now, he's reaching out through social media to do the same thing via the #DrinkGoodDoGood campaign with Naked Juice. The campaign is intended to help the one in 10 Americans who live in a food desert and lack basic access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Common joins Good Day Chicago to talk about the initiative and how a hashtag is helping send fresh produce to communities in need.

For every fruit and vegetable shared online using #DrinkGoodDoGood, Naked Juice will donated 10 pounds of produce to communities who need it most.
