Furry Friend of the Week: Adoptable cat Sunflower

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring a 1-year-old kitty named Sunflower!

It has taken Sunflower a bit of time to adjust to life in a shelter environment, but with lots of patience and love, Sunflower has blossomed into an extremely lovable girl. She is the type of kitty who will rub up against you and practically beg for a good scratch on her cheek!

Sunflower is looking for an adults-only home with an experienced owner. She would love it if her new family was home often and can give her all the love and affection she deserves. 

She does not enjoy the company of other cats and is searching for a home without any other feline friends.

Sunflower is a super friendly cat who loves to play with any kind of toy she can get her paws on! She is a young girl who has lots of energy and is hoping her new family will engage in daily structured play sessions with her so that she can expel her energy in a positive manner. She also loves to jump and climb, so she would enjoy a nice cat tree she can perch in whenever she pleases.
