He's got quite a name to live up to.

James TW, short for James Taylor-Watts, was named after another famous singer-songwriter who also served as his dad's favorite -- James Taylor.

Similar to Taylor, James TW boasts original writing, soothing chords and an acoustic easiness that stems out of a deep reserve natural talent.

James TW released his debut EP "First Impressions," in April and hasn't looked back since. The soft spoken 18-year-old joined Good Day Chicago to talk about his emergence and perform "When You Love Someone" off of his latest project.
