Meats, music reign supreme at Sausage Fest 2016

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS) - If you loved encased meats and live music, this weekend might be one of your favorites all year.

This weekend, the sixth annual Sausage Fest will be bringing its lineup of sausage and summer sounds to Lincoln Park.

Event organizer Allison Edwards, Bub City's Christian Eckmann and the reigning "Sausage King of Chicago" Vicky VanDyke join GDC to preview the event and tell sausage-seekers what's in store.

Sausage Fest will take place July 23 and July 24 at the Weed Street District from noon to 8 p.m. both days. For more information, check out the Sausage Fest website, SausageKingChicago.com.
