New curly-haired, multi-tonal dolls help young girls feel beautiful

Margaret Fitzpatrick started Curly Girls United in hopes of showing little girls that dolls with curly, kinky hair and dark skin are just as beautiful their blue-eyed counterparts.

The idea is to fight the statistic that roughly 60 percent of girls who have curly hair don't think it's beautiful.

Fitzpatrick is joined by 6-year-old Madison White, who calls her doll "mini-me" and finds comfort in her likeness to her little friend. Both of them talk about the dolls and why its important to shift the perception of young girls into a more postive mindset.
