Chicago Bears players help with Fairdale tornado cleanup

Members of the Chicago Bears were in tornado-damaged portions of northern Illinois offering their help.

Players Blake Annen, Ryan Mundy and Will Sutton were in Fairdale on Friday. They assisted with debris clean-up and other projects before visiting the Kirkland Fire Department to meet with families and first responders.

Two people died as a result of the tornadoes that devastated areas of northern Illinois on April 9.

The team also made a donation of $100,000 to the United Way of Rock River Valley to assist in recovery efforts and aid those affected.
