6-year-old girl shot in West Pullman

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A 6-year-old girl was shot Sunday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 9:10 p.m., the girl was exiting a vehicle with an adult in the 12300 block of South Perry when gunfire rang out and she was shot in the arm, according to Chicago Police.

The girl showed up at Roseland Community Hospital, where she was listed in good condition, police said. She was later transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
