2 in custody after Pulaski Park SWAT situation

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Two people were taken into custody Saturday after a SWAT team responded to a report of gunfire near a social club in the Pulaski Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Officers responded about 8:55 a.m. to the call of shots fired in the 3400 block of West Peterson, according to Chicago Police. A SWAT team was then called to clear the area, and nearby streets were temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.

Two people were being held for questioning, police said. A weapon was recovered at the scene.

No injuries were reported, police said.
