Man robs third Chicago bank this month

SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE - A man who robbed a Humboldt Park bank Thursday afternoon is also thought to be responsible for two other North Side bank robberies this month.

The most recent robbery happened at 12:50 p.m. Thursday at the PNC Bank branch at 3337 W. North Ave., according to the FBI.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 white man in his mid-30s with a thin build, according to the FBI. He was wearing an olive green winter coat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan tennis shoes.

The same suspect is thought to have robbed a Huntington Bank branch at 4012 N. Pualski at 9:41 a.m. Dec.8; and a US Bank branch at 4725 N. Western at 9:03 a.m. Dec. 2, according to the FBI.

He has not shown a weapon during any of the robberies.
