Man who exposed himself to girl in Kenwood prompts community alert

CHICAGO (STMW) - Chicago Police issued a community alert after a man exposed himself to a girl Tuesday morning in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side.

The man was sitting in a black four-door Chevrolet Grand Prix when he exposed himself to a girl walking to school around 9:40 a.m. in the 4700 block of South Ellis Avenue, according to the alert from Area Central detectives. The girl ran away and contacted police.

He is described as a black man between 35 and 39 years old, police said.
