One person shot at Darien Walmart

DARIEN, Ill. (FOX 32 News) - Police officials in Darien are investigating  a shooting inside a Walmart. 

Darien Police officials say an argument inside the store located at 2189 75th Street resulted in one man being shot in the shoulder. 

Employees and customers inside the store at the time of the shooting say they heard three to four shots. Some who were working the registers at the store say they rushed to get customers to safety in the back. 

The shooting victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in good condition. 

But for customers and employees inside the store, it was a terrifying night. 

Police officials say this is an isolated incident. Officials say the suspect is still at large. Police do not know if the suspect left on foot, or jumped in a vehicle. The chief of police said they do not have any kind of vehicle description, but they are reviewing surveillance video.
