CHICAGO (AP) - Police say a passenger in a taxi cab has been shot and killed on the South Side of Chicago.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the woman was among at least 10 people shot at the start of the weekend.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified her as 30-year-old Shari Graham.

Police spokesman Hector Alfaro says she was shot while sitting in a cab Friday night a few blocks from U.S. Cellular Field, home of the Chicago White Sox.

She was struck in the back. The driver of the cab sped away from the scene and called paramedics. Graham was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police do not believe she was the intended target of the shooting. Officers are still searching for the gunman.
