SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE - Three people were killed and a woman was critically injured in a crash Monday night near the Illinois/Indiana state line on the Far South Side.

About 10:20 p.m., a motorcycle was going east on Indianapolis Avenue when it ran a red light and crashed into a westbound SUV that was turning left onto Avenue B, according to Chicago Police.

Jamie Trickle, a 35-year-old passenger in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. She lived in the 1700 block of West North Shore Avenue.

Two people on the motorcycle were also pronounced dead at the scene, including 32-year-old Joshua Lee Gentry, an Indianapolis resident. Authorities have not released the other male victim’s name or age.

The 28-year-old woman driving the SUV was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, authorities said.
