Police search for suspect in Rolling Meadows sexual assaults

ROLLING MEADOWS (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Police are searching for a suspect in two sexual assaults and break-ins in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows.
Between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. June 30, the suspect knocked on the front door of a home in the 4800 block of Algonquin Parkway, according to an alert from Rolling Meadows police. When the door was answered, he forced himself inside and sexually assaulted the victim, running away after the attack.
The attacker was described as a 160-pound Hispanic man, standing between 5-feet and 5-foot-1, police said. He was armed with a knife.
The suspect is believed to be the same person who committed a similar sexual assault in the early morning hours of January 14 in the 4800 block of Algonquin Parkway, police said. in that case, the suspect also knocked on the victim’s door, then forced himself inside. He is also believed to have committed two break-ins in February 2017 and December 2016.
With the help of the victim in the June 30 attack, police created a sketch of the suspect.
