CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Two teenage boys have been arrested after shots were fired during an attempted robbery early Sunday on a CTA Green Line train in the South Loop.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with one felony count of reckless discharge, while a 14-year-old boy was arrested for having a warrant out for his arrest, according to Chicago Police.

Nobody was hurt when the shots were fired on the train at 5:52 a.m. Sunday in the first block of East Cermak near the Cermak – McCormick Place stop, police said at the time. The two suspects tried to rob a passenger on the train and fired the shots before running away.

The boys were taken into custody for questioning a short time later, police said. Additional details on the teenagers were not provided because of their age.
