Two armed robberies reported in West Town in last week

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two armed robberies have been reported in the West Town neighborhood in the last week.

Two or three suspects approach a victim on the street and rob the victim while holding a handgun, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened about 9 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Washtenaw and about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of West Iowa, police said.

The suspects are described as two or three black men between 18 and 25 years old and 140 to 175 pounds.
