Two men rob Chatham bank at gunpoint

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two males robbed a bank at gunpoint Thursday afternoon in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The two suspects entered the TCF Bank branch at 233 W. 87th St. about 12:30 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the FBI.

They pulled out a firearm, demanded money and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspects are described as two black males, in their late teens or 20s, standing 5-foot-8 to 6-foot-2, police said. They were both wearing dark hooded jackets and one was wearing blue pants while the other was wearing light-colored pants.

There were two separate crime scenes, according to the FBI.
