(FoxNews.com) - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a series of pictures of their adorable son Prince George to celebrate his third birthday, but one image has raised the ire of animal welfare organizations.
The complaints were raised over a photograph that shows the young prince apparently feeding his pet spaniel, Lupo, ice cream.
According to animal experts, dogs are allergic to dairy products, and chocolate is highly toxic to canines, facts a leading animal rights group was quick to point out.
After the photos were released Friday, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) said they appreciated the prince's generous gesture to his four-legged friend, but it could be dangerous for the animal.
