FOX NEWS - Writing that NFL players' national anthem protests are now fueling a debate about patriotism, Time magazine featured a kneeling Colin Kaepernick on its latest cover.
The San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback has said he will kneel for the national anthem before each game this season over "oppression" of minorities and violence by police officers.
His protest has led other NFL players to join him. On Monday night, three Philadelphia Eagles players raised their fists during the anthem.
Meantime, Kaepernick said this week that he's received some death threats in recent weeks, but is "not too concerned." He argued that any act of violence against him would only prove his larger point.
