FOX NEWS - Shocking photos reveal the extraordinary lengths illegal immigrants have gone to in their efforts to enter the U.S. From trying to drive a Jeep over a border fence to literally sewing oneself into a car seat, people have tried almost everything to evade U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents.
Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said on "Fox and Friends" this morning that it's not surprising that people are taking such astonishing steps to enter our country because we don't have any border security or enforcement of immigration laws.
"Your only real chance of getting pushback is if you're caught at the border," Fitton said. "Once you're here ... deportations generally have dropped dramatically over the last decade."
He noted that approximately 65,000 people out of 12 million who are in the country illegally will be deported in 2016.
"You get here, you get across the border, and you're free and clear, practically speaking," Fitton said. "If we had stronger enforcement - wall or no wall - we'd have less border crossings."
