CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It's that time of year where high schooler's around the country are thinking about who they want to take to formal and the way they're asking is getting more creative each year.

One Chicago teen's video of him asking a girl to prom is starting to pick up steam online.

Omar Vega enlisted a troupe of his fellow students from Lane Tech High School to help him perform an elaborate "promposal" for Elodie Castro in a packed gymnasium.

The performance took place during a school event called International Days Festival where the school's ethnic clubs showcase their talent and diversity.

In the 3-minute video, students danced to music including Bruno Mars' "Young Girls" before the performance concluded with Vega "promposing" to Castro with a bouquet of flowers in hand and a sign that simply said "Prom?"

Judging by the reaction, we think she said yes.
