16-year-old missing Gary girl found safe

GARY (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - A 16-year-old girl with autism who was reported missing Wednesday morning in northwest Indiana was found safe.
Samantha Thomas went missing about 9:30 a.m. from the 2500 block of Madison Street in Gary, according to Gary police. She suffers from autism and had not had her medication.
Police said Wednesday afternoon that Samantha had returned home safely.
