FOX 32 NEWS - Day two of Lollapalooza is over, and what would the festival be without a little rain.
It felt like Deja vu on day two of Lollapalooza: rain, rain and more rain. That’s why you have to come prepared with ponchos, just like Marisol Jaimas.
“I have 2 in my bag just because I can never be too prepared. But, yesterday I didn't have anything with me and all my stuff got wet, my phone got wet, so I'm prepared today,” said Marisol Jaimas.
Friday’s weather still didn't stop festival goers from filling up Grant Park to check out bands like Foals.
"Oh, no. No, I mean, a little rain. I don't think the hard stuff is going to come down for quite a while yet,” said Captain Zesty.
"It's not as rainy as yesterday and the music is awesome. Foals was amazing. It's been a lot of fun,” another concert-goer said.
The sun finally started to force its way through the clouds later in the afternoon.
“I'm glad that we don't have to use our ponchos anymore,” another concert-goer said.
It’s one less distraction taking away from music lovers’ experience.
Regardless of who they came to see, everyone agreed they just wanted clear skies to close out day two of Lollapalooza.
