Authorities say three women from Chicago were killed when a vehicle ran a red light and slammed their Uber ride in Milwaukee.

FOX 32 NEWS - The suspected hit-and-run driver who killed three Chicago women over the weekend has turned himself in.

The three women were riding in an UBER in Milwaukee when another driver blew a red light.

Just before three Sunday morning, a man driving a Lexus 3-50 ran a red light and plowed right into the Ford Fusion the women were riding in.

The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Amy Taylor, 30-year-old Ashley Sawatzke and 35-year-old Lindsey Cohen.

According to Milwaukee police, Taylor and Sawatzke died at the scene. Cohen died a short time later at a hospital.

According to a GoFundMe page, the driver of the Ford is 41-year-old Tim Snyder, who was the UBER driver. He in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

After the crash, the driver and possibly a passenger of the Lexus ran from the scene.

A 23-year-old man, believed to have been behind the wheel, has now turned himself in to police

All three victims were once co-workers at Chicago’s Energy BBDO. The company released this statement: "We are absolutely devastated by the loss of these three incredible, exuberant young women who were taken from us far too soon."

Sawatzke recently went to work for Leo Burnett. The company in a statement said: "We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of Ashley’s passing. She was a valued and loved member of the Leo Burnett family. Our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family at this time."

So far, there are no charges yet against the 23-year-old man who turned himself into police Monday.

Charges against the driver could come down as early as Tuesday.
