CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Airline travelers at one of Chicago's airports may want to factor in some extra time after protesters announced plans to inconvenience passengers.
A group that plans to protest at Midway Airport is the same group that participated in the Black Friday protests on Michigan Avenue following the release of the Laquan McDonald dashcam video.
Thursday afternoon, the group announced plans to hold a mass march intended to obstruct traffic near Midway on one of the busiest travel days of the year. They hope the impact with affect the economic market across Chicago and the Midwest.
"If we can't live, they can't fly." DeAngelo Bester, Executive Director of the Workers Center for Racial Justice, said in a press release Thursday.
Travelers are warned to add extra drive time to their commute to Midway.
