CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Chicago is sending a new truckload of water donations to Flint, Mich. later this week.
Water donations poured into Sweet Holy Spirit Church Sunday afternoon. The water drive was one of many in the Chicago area.
The community in Flint is struggling with lead contaminated water , some even testing positive for lead poisoning. Last year the City of Flint switched to water from the Flint River to save money, without properly testing the supply.
Some children's blood has tested positive for lead, which has been linked to learning problems.
Officials say the need for water could go on for months, if not years.
