Chicago cabbies raising money for lawsuit with 'sexy calendar'

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - They drive you around all year, and now they're ready to drive you wild.

They may not be the type of centerfolds you're used to seeing, but some Chicago cab drivers are showing off their sexy sides in a very special calendar. That's right!

Local cabbies say this was their first experience with modeling, and it's all to raise money for a lawsuit against the city of Chicago.

A group of Chicago taxi drivers sued the city three years ago, stating that the amount of regulations on cabs makes them employees of the city. And therefore, they say the city if violating minimum wage laws.

According to a report from DNAinfo Chicago, a federal judge has ruled that the drivers are not city employees, but the group is appealing that ruling.
