Chicago playwright fighting violence with arts therapy

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Life is about choices. For a lot of Chicago's inner city youth, making good choices can be even more difficult when they're exposed everyday to violence, homicides, and shootings.

But someone is trying to make a difference and help promote critical thinking and good decision making under intense pressure-related situations.

Joining FOX 32 News at Noon on Wednesday were Cassandra Bell, a Cook County Juvenile Detention Center delinquency specialist and playwright who is fighting Chicago violence with an arts therapy program and Devon Davis, an aspiring actor cast in her new stage play, Broken Windows II.
