City of Chicago offers Christmas tree recycling

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It's hard to believe it's already that time of the year - time to get take down the Christmas tree until next year!

From January 2 through January 16, residents can bring Christmas trees to one of 24 Chicago Park District locations to be mulched.

And just a heads up, trees should be removed from any bags when placing them in the tree recycling corrals.

Free mulch will also be available  at six designated spots starting January 11.
