Dates on CPS 2016-2017 calendar may surprise you
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Parents and students of Chicago Public Schools, listen up!
CPS officially released their calendar for the 2016-2017 school year, and some of the break dates on the calendar may surprise you!
All high school and elementary students will start classes the day after Labor Day on September 6, and the school year will wrap up on June 20.
But here's the somewhat shocking part: Winter break doesn't start until December 24th, Christmas Eve. In past years, students had the entire week leading up to Christmas off.
