DOLTON, Illinois (Fox 32 News) - Dolton Police were investigating a bomb threat against Thornridge High School on Sunday night.

Dolton Police Chief Robert Collins told Fox 32 News that multiple students received a message (possibly a text) warning that bombs might be set off on Monday afternoon.

Collins said that the threat might have grown out of a dispute between students.

"The plan is to have the school swept by explosive detection dogs before school opens in the morning," Collins said. "We are working with school officials in this matter."
