Dreadful news on my train to Springfield from Chicago. Amtrak conductor just told us there was a vehicle strike. Send your thoughts and prayers to northbound train to Chicago. I think he said it was train #300. PA is hard to hear on this train.— Hannah Douglas (@hannahtravels) April 3, 2019
“There was a vehicle strike that resulted in a fatality.” Heard over the PA on Amtrak train 303. There was a vehicle strike on northbound Amtrak train headed to Chicago. I believe it’s train 300. Terrible news, and thinking of loved ones and all those on that train right now.— Hannah Douglas (@hannahtravels) April 3, 2019
