Elderly couple missing from Wood Dale found safe in Deerfield

WOOD DALE, Ill. (STMW) - An elderly couple reported missing Tuesday morning from northwest suburban Wood Dale has been found safe in north suburban Deerfield Wednesday night.

Donald Warren, 87, and his wife, 80-year-old Janette Warren, were last seen leaving for a doctor’s appointment near North and Harlem, according to a statement from Wood Dale police.

On Wednesday night, Deerfield Police Officer Raina Hall found the pair and took them to the Deerfield Police Department where they are waiting for their family’s arrival. Paramedics were called as a precaution, authorities said.
