FBI investigates 'takeover' bank robbery on North Side

A bank was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning on the North Side.

The robbery occurred at 9:18 a.m. at a Chase Bank branch at 1757 W. Fullerton, according to the FBI. The suspect showed a weapon and the incident was described as a takeover robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-3, the FBI said. He had a heavy build and wore a black ski mask, a black hooded jacket and gloves.
