Lawsuit alleges CPD conducted unconstitutional spying

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - A judge will hear arguments Monday on whether or not the Chicago Police Department should be forced to reveal information about its use of a controversial cell phone spying device known as "stingrays."

The city has now been sued twice over their refusal to disclose how they actually use the device.

The man behind these lawsuits - independent journalist and Chicago resident - Freddy Martinez - who also works as an information technology worker, joined Good Day Chicago on Monday to talk about it.
