CHICAGO (FOX 32 / STMW) - Police are searching for a 26-year-old man from the United Kingdom who was last seen in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Ademola Owolana was last seen Saturday in the 11600 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. He is visiting from the UK and is not familiar with the area.

"Oh my God, please just help me find my son. Help me, help me find my son,” said mother Bolanle Owolana.

A tearful mother is holding out hope that her son is still alive. Ademola Owolana disappeared near 117th and Michigan around 4 a.m. Saturday. The sales rep from London had traveled to Chicago with his mother to visit relatives in west suburban Plainfield.

“I really don't know what to believe right now. I don't know. I don't know,” Bolanle said.

Relatives say Owolana was clubbing Saturday night and ended up at Club Low Key well after midnight. The club was ordered to shut down by police two weeks ago for having no business license, but apparently was still open.

A relative who was with Owolana says the British tourist had several drinks at Club Low Key, smoked a little pot, and then demanded the keys to the car. When he didn't get them, he just ran off.

“He was being kind of aggressive, so when I said no the third time, he run that way, he jogged, like jogging,” said relative Sheriff Akinoso.

Late Monday afternoon, neighborhood police held a rollcall at the corner where Owolana was last seen. They also passed out flyers, and the family has posted them all over the neighborhood.

Owolana's mother says she has his passport and cellphone, and that he has no ID because he lost his wallet earlier in their trip.

Owolana's family is offering a $5000 reward for any information that helps them locate their missing relative. Owolana is described as a 5-foot-6, 130-pound black man with black hair, brown eyes and medium brown complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, burgundy shirt, blue pants and gray gym shoes.
