Man with head injury missing from Aurora rehabilitation center

AURORA, Ill. (STMW) - Police are searching for a 53-year-old man who went missing last week from a rehabilitation center in west suburban Aurora.

Dimitri Staley climbed out of a window at a rehabilitation center in the 1000 block of West Galena Boulevard about 5:45 p.m. Nov. 12, and has not been seen since, according to Aurora police.

He is described as a 6-foot-1, 180-pound black man with shaved head and brown eyes, police said. He is generally calm, but may display a temper if he feels threatened.

Staley was undergoing treatment for a head injury, police said. Authorities believe he may be in Joliet, Wheaton or Chicago.
