Photos: Semi truck hits Amtrak train in Joliet

JOLIET, Ill. (FOX 32 News) - Fire officials say two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an accident involving a semi truck and an Amtrak Friday. 

According to the Joliet Fire Department's Facebook page, the incident occurred on Laraway Road, just west of Route 53. 

Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
