CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 71-year-old man with dementia missing from the West Garfield Park neighborhood since Monday night.
Abraham Cooper left his home for a walk at 8:50 p.m. in the 300 block of South Kilpatrick and never returned, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.
He suffers from dementia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, for which he requires medication and oxygen, police said.
Cooper is described as a 120-pound, 6-foot-2 black man with brown eyes, black and gray short hair and a medium complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a burgundy thermal shirt and blue jogging pants.
