Police follow trail of blood to find trolley vandalism suspects

SOUTH ELGIN, Illinois (Fox 32 News) - Two boys smashed dozens of windows on antique trolleys at a suburban Chicago museum.

The Daily Herald reports that the boys used pickaxes and spikes to do the damage at Fox River Trolley Museum in South Elgin.

One of the boys was injured and left a bloody trail to his own house. The boys were arrested and are being prosecuted in juvenile court.

Repairs will cost around $100,000. The museum is hosting a fundraiser on GoFundMe.
